Volunteer with us
The trust is looking for active volunteers and social workers in and around Kolkata. You don’t need experience. You need a few hours, regularly, and the patience to show up for the same children every week.
Ways to help
- Teach. Take a weekly class for children in a basti or a village: reading, maths, drawing, anything you can teach well.
- Camps. Doctors, nurses, optometrists and pharmacists for the health camps; anyone for registration, crowd and logistics.
- Legal aid. Advocates and law students for consultations and legal-literacy sessions.
- Drives. Hands for winter blanket drives and relief after a flood or fire; drivers with a vehicle are gold.
- Skills. Photography, accounts, writing, fundraising, translation into Bengali and Hindi.
What happens next
Fill in the form. Someone from the trust will call or WhatsApp you within a few days, usually to invite you along to the next class or camp so you can see the work before you commit to anything.
